Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, a well-established organization within the energy sector, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their Calgary-based team. Your success will be defined by your ability to: Manage a small team of Accounts Payable Accountants Ensure accurate and efficient coding incoming invoices Process trade-run cycles Respond to vendor complaints or disputes Respond to vendor inquiries regarding the status of invoices, including following up internally on approval Manage the delegation of authority matrix in the AP system Uphold the masterfile update procedures and other internal control protocols Point of contact for system related issues Work with the treasury department to ensure alignment with cash forecasting requirements Monthly accounts payable KPI related reporting Support recurring monthly payments (government remittances, royalties, etc.) Other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support the greater finance team Your strengths include: 5-10 years of experience in an accounts payable department Highly organized with strong attention to detail Above average communication skills (written and oral) Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently Experience with the Pandell Suite of products would be considered an asset If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the “Apply” button to send your resume directly to Shae Nesselbeck.
