The
Analyst, Quality Assurance,
works as part of the Information Management team to organize, document and communicate the testing of applications for CPSA. This role will develop test frameworks to ensure applications are thoroughly assessed before they are implemented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, deliver and evaluate the testing framework and process for applications prior to implementation, including:
Gather and create testing criteria for a variety of applications
Document and gather documentation from the testing procedure, and communicate with the Business Analysts and Programmers
Liaise with all key partners to ensure bugs are removed as completely as possible from the software before being moved to production
Create reports on problems and issues that affect testing
Partner with Business Analysts to ensure applications are implemented in a timely and accurate manner
Set up and report on testing from other users as necessary
Work with specialty areas to help understand data and help create analytics tools
Triage code problems and data-related issues
In support of continuous quality improvement, research new technologies, review processes and make recommendations to enhance CPSA’s technology practices.
Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in information technology or equivalent
3 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Detailed experience in testing
Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
Proficiency with process mapping and analysis
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including comfortability with presentations.
Organizational and prioritization skills
Experience with Wordpress Content Management System (CMS)
Experience with SharePoint Online
SALARY
The annual salary for this position is $81,568 and includes a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.

During the 90-day probationary period, the successful candidate will be required to work from CPSA's downtown Edmonton office. At the conclusion of a successful probationary period, a hybrid work arrangement consisting of 4 days/week in-office may be considered.
