is family-owned and operated and one of Calgary’s largest Toyota dealerships. We’re looking for a skilled, motivated Alignment Technician to join our busy Service team.
This is a great opportunity for a 2nd-, 3rd- or 4th-year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice, or Journeyperson Technician, who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing the job right, and wants to continue developing their skills in a busy, well-established dealership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for performing accurate wheel alignments and related steering, suspension and tire work while maintaining Charlesglen Toyota’s standards for quality, safety and workmanship.
Perform two-wheel and four-wheel alignments using appropriate alignment equipment and manufacturer specifications
Meet a daily productivity target of 15–20 completed alignments while maintaining dealership standards for accuracy, safety and workmanship
Inspect steering, suspension, tires and related components for wear, damage or conditions that may affect vehicle alignment
Diagnose alignment concerns, including pulling, uneven tire wear, steering wheel position and handling issues
Complete steering and suspension repairs related to alignment concerns within your level of training and certification
Perform tire-related services and inspections as required
Accurately document inspection findings, completed work and additional repair recommendations
Communicate identified concerns clearly to the Service Advisor and obtain appropriate authorization before completing additional work
Follow manufacturer specifications, dealership procedures and established safety practices
Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organized condition
Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts and fellow Technicians to help keep work moving efficiently through the shop
Participate in ongoing technical training and development
Assist with other mechanical repairs and Service Department duties within your skills, training and certification as required
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum 2nd-Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice status
3rd- and 4th-year apprentices and Journeyperson Automotive Service Technicians are also encouraged to apply
Previous hands-on automotive repair experience
Experience performing wheel alignments is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of steering, suspension, tires and vehicle alignment principles
Ability to safely operate alignment and other automotive service equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently and productively in a busy shop environment
Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
Valid driver’s licence with a driving record acceptable to the dealership
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
Ability to provide your own tools required for the position
