Job DescriptionJob Description Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M2) Responsibilities Perform all mechanical tasks required to complete a heavy “I” check on Airbus A310 aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and standards. Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues on the A310, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions. Inspect, repair, and replace aircraft components and systems as needed to ensure airworthiness and reliability. Follow all applicable regulations, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation while performing maintenance activities. Document all maintenance actions accurately and completely in the appropriate records and systems. Work collaboratively on the hangar floor with other maintenance personnel to meet project timelines and quality expectations. Adhere to safety, security, and controlled goods requirements at all times while working on the aircraft and within the facility. Support a 24/7 operation by working assigned shifts and participating in overtime as needed to meet operational demands. Essential Skills Valid AME M2 license Ability to meet controlled goods requirements and maintain reliability status as required for access to the worksite. Ability to work effectively on A310 aircraft during heavy maintenance checks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work on the hangar floor at an airbase environment, performing maintenance directly on Airbus A310 aircraft. The facility operates 24/7, supporting continuous maintenance activities. The role follows a rotating shift schedule, with a daytime shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (10 hours) and an afternoon shift from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM (10 hours), rotating every two weeks. The work environment is hands‑on and physically active, involving time on and around the aircraft, use of standard aviation maintenance tools and equipment, and adherence to strict safety and security procedures appropriate for an airbase hangar setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
