Champlain College Lennoxville is seeking the services of an Administrative Support Agent, Class I, for a full-time position within Student Services, specifically in the Adapted Services department.
FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the Dean of Student Services and working closely with the Adapted Services Counsellor, the incumbent will perform various administrative tasks related to adapted services and student services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assures the day-to-day running of the adapted services exam room;
Assures the day-to-day running of the tutoring services;
Provides administrative support to the adapted services counsellor;
Helps with organization and coordination of the work assignments of the proctors and tutors and the processing of their time sheets in the system;
Performs administrative tasks relating to the support of current students and the student services department;
Plays a pivotal role in the organization of the final exam period for adapted services;
Provides regular (weekly) reports to the Adapted Services Counsellor and the Dean of Student Services on the status of offered services, including statistical reports and other pertinent information;
Performs all other related duties, as requested by the Dean of Student Services.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in an appropriate specialty, or a Secondary School Diploma (DES), or a diploma or attestation recognized as equivalent by the appropriate authority, combined with a minimum of one (1) year of experience.
Bilingual (advanced knowledge of French and English - written and spoken).
