Our Firm has an opening for an Administrative Professional to join our team. The position details are as follows: * Status: Full-time * Office Location: Burlington, ON * Salary Range: $62,000 - $79,000 * This role will participate in our Firm's structured bonus program and is eligible to receive our benefits and pension plan. * Reason for Hire: New position/addition Reporting to Partners, Principals, Managers, and Administrative Leads, you will be responsible for: * Managing office operations and facilities to ensure efficient day-to-day business functions * Coordinating administrative, marketing, and event support while managing communications and special projects * Handling daily banking activities, including preparing and performing bank deposits and maintaining bank memos * Preparing and assembling financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory filings * Managing financial and year-end file administration by entering disbursements, performing file lock-downs and roll forwards, and maintaining organized electronic records and archives * Coordinating billing operations by preparing interim and final invoices, billings, invoice requisitions, and WIP reports to support client billing * Maintaining financial records and reporting by recording disbursements and expenses, preparing accounts receivable and month-end reports, and reconciling month-end interest * Supporting financial administration by overseeing accounts receivable activities, including collections, follow-ups, statement preparation, interest recording, deposit applications, and account write-offs * Providing administrative and operational support by training employees on timesheet systems, assisting with tax filing processes, and coordinating invoice approvals * Additional responsibilities as required to support office and Firm objectives The ideal candidate will have: * Successful completion of a Business or Office Administration program, or equivalent * Minimum three (3) years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within an office environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an aptitude to learn standard Firm software and other relevant applications * Sound judgment regarding confidential matters and time-sensitive material * Strong ability to manage emails, calendars, and meeting requests * Knowledge of CaseWare, CaseView, Doc.It, Taxprep an asset If you are a confident, dedicated, and hardworking professional motivated to deliver high-quality service and value to clients, we would love to hear from you!
