Position Information
Location Anvil Office Tower, New Westminster Salary Range
$55,148 annually (with wage increments to a max of $61,824 annually). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Director, Marketing and Communications, the Administrative Officer I contributes to the success of the College and its community of learners by providing efficient administrative support and facilitating and resolving operational issues while providing exceptional client-centred service and facilitating best practices in business communications to all stakeholder groups.

WHAT IT TAKES
• Diploma level program in office or business administration from a recognized post-secondary institution (bachelor's degree preferred). A diploma in a related field may be considered (i.e. communications).
• Minimum of three years directly related work experience.
• Minimum of two years bookkeeping experience.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an environment where professionalism, a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, and diplomacy are of primary importance.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills including written and verbal fluency in the English language.

Additional Information
• This regular, full-time position is available starting June 8, 2026.
• Regular hours of work are on call as needed. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department's need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
• The position is located at the Anvil Tower campus.
