Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Administrative Assistant to provide virtual administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment. The assistant will work directly with the Director, providing essential support as we develop and coordinate initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, green practices, and climate change awareness. These efforts are aimed at promoting responsible environmental action, supporting community engagement, and contributing to long-term solutions that benefit both present and future generations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote administrative and clerical support
Manage emails, correspondence, and scheduling
Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital records
Prepare documents, reports, and basic presentations
Coordinate virtual meetings and maintain calendars
Assist with filing, document organization, and online record management
Support management and team members with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
Previous administrative or virtual assistant experience preferred
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace
Legally eligible to work in Canada
