Admin Support Worker
Temporary Contract (3 months), Full Time
Guelph Independent Living (GIL)

Responsibilities:
The Scheduler position is responsible for the scheduling of the Outreach, Assisted Living & Seniors Programs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Scheduling:
Prepare monthly schedules according to the collective agreement, rotations, and availability
Input and maintain schedules in multiple systems ( ZaqenCare primary scheduling tool)
Schedule coverage for sick calls and make all applicable changes necessary
Schedule coverage resulting from vacation requests, shift exchanges, time off requests
Prepare monthly attendance and shift reports for Managers
Communicate schedule changes to the clients
Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations and organizational priorities.
Perform rotating on-call duties to support operational needs.
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the service needs of
adults with disabilities and seniors
2-year community college diploma or 1-2 years of experience in scheduling preferred
Exceptional verbal, written and problem-solving skills
Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Microsoft 365 (teams, SharePoint)
Prior scheduling experience in a community set up is considered an asset.
Experience working in a
non-profit or unionized environment
is considered an asset.
Experience with scheduling platform an asset
Working Conditions
Full-time hours
35 hours per week
Onsite
Standard daytime hours with participation in a
rotating on-call schedule.
Work may involve coordination with multiple teams and responding to operational needs in a dynamic environment.
Temporary contract for 3 months.
Compensation: Starting 20$ per hour.
