Come join our dynamic team as an: Accounts Payable Clerk Full time - $32/hr. -$36/hr. Under the direction of the Director of Finance, the Accounts Payable Clerk will perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures, including assisting with year-end audits. Qualifications for this role include: A minimum of a Certificate in Accounting, or Bookkeeping One to three years of relevant experience in accounts payable Competencies and understanding of databases and accounting software Strong to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Sage Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Mathematical ability, accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently on assigned duties Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands Ability to work individually as well as a part of a team Flexible and able to work under pressure Ability to maintain confidentiality Full medical, RRSP Plan, dental and vision benefits (premium shared 50/50 with employer) Clear Criminal Record Check is required Preference will be given to applicants of Canadian Indigenous ancestry.
