Accountant at SumBridge — NeverHard

Accountant Position SumBridge is hiring an accountant to join our consulting team for a long-term project based role with our manufacturing client. This is a 3-5 month contract with possibility of extension. This role is onsite in the greater Puyallup area and offers competitive compensation and benefits including healthcare and PTO. Job Responsibilities: Preparing and managing general ledger entries. Reconciling financial statements. Entering financial data in deferrals, accruals, and reclassifications. Reviewing cash deposits and preparing cash receipt journal entries. Recording monthly and annual processes. Posting journal entries in the accounting system. Tracking fixed asset ledger. Preparing balance sheet and profit and loss statement. Collaborating with various departments such as sales, customers, and third party vendors. Assisting the team with accounting issues and queries. Adhering to accounting standards and regulations. Staying updated with the best practices in accounting. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field. 3+ years of experience working as a GL accountant, or a similar role in a corporate accounting department. Practical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Ability to solve complex accounting problems and errors. Proficiency in accounting software such as accounting ERP systems and MS Excel. Strong knowledge of financial bookkeeping procedures. A sharp eye for detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multi-task simultaneously. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Illustrate the ability to meet deadlines. Team player and ability to motivate the team members. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
