Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Accountant Location: Richmond Hill, ON Pay Range: $35-$40 ( based on experience ) Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm Work Model: Fully On-site What's the Job? Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures in accordance with established guidelines and timelines. Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Review inventory transactions in M1 to monitor and identify inventory waste or discrepancies. Reconcile inter-company transactions, including foreign currency exchange differences, to maintain accurate group reporting. Prepare inter-company invoice information and supporting documentation, and support ad-hoc projects as required. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in general accounting roles. Proficient in financial systems, accounting processes, and technology platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, and financial modeling.
