We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accountant to support our client's financial operations in Kazakhstan. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate book keeping, timelymonth‑end closing, compliance with local accounting regulations, and coordination with external auditors and tax authorities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, solid knowledge of Kazakhstan statutory requirements, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multinational environment. This is a permanent position based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Responsibilities: Execute daily accounting operations including invoice processing, bank transactions, and postings in SAP. Support month‑end closing by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and necessary supporting schedules. Ensure timely and accurate Accounts Payable activities, including vendor invoice verification, payment preparation, and supplier reconciliations. Handling daily banking & treasury operations. Support fixed asset accounting including asset additions, disposals, physical counts. Review and process employee expense claims (Concur) in line with company policies. Cross-functional collaboration with regional finance operations team and other local departments. Ensure proper documentation, archiving, and adherence to internal control policies as well as local legal requirements. Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. At least 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or corporate environment in similar field. Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan accounting standards, statutory reporting, and tax regulations. Experience with month‑end closing, general ledger, and account reconciliations. Advanced level of English, you will report to Foreign Manager, and will work with Global team in English. Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP . Driving and initiative skills, with the ability to prioritize and to deliver tasks in timely manner. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
