Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Payable (part-time), you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and administrative functions related to supplier payments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and initiative, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Account Payable (part time) 2 months contract, might be extended Location: Brantford, ON Pay Rate: $26 - $28 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday to Friday What's the Job? Collaborate with the plant accountant to create and maintain Supplier Master Files in GS, Interal, and Epicor systems. Manage mailbox correspondence related to accounts payable. Enter vendor invoices into GS or Epicor systems accurately and efficiently. Insert documents, purchase orders, bills of lading, and payment requests into the system. Analyze accounts payable and accruals to ensure accurate financial records. What's Needed? Professional Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) or College D.E.C. in accounting. Minimum of two years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
