Role Overview
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for driving new revenue while managing select existing accounts. You will work closely with internal design and production teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions that meet client needs and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all sales opportunities within the CRM system, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and timely follow-up activities
Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets
Actively prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field outreach
Build and execute a structured sales plan to exceed revenue targets
Develop strong, long-term client relationships at multiple levels
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals
Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, operations) to ensure seamless execution
Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities
What You Bring
Proven success in new business development / hunter sales role
Strong track record of exceeding sales targets
Confidence in cold calling and proactive prospecting
Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
High energy, resilience, and strong internal drive
Ability to handle rejection and maintain momentum
Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial sales (asset)
Skills & Competencies
Relevant B2B sales experience within the industrial packaging industry in the GTA, with a strong understanding of the local market and key customer segments.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data
Strong presentation and influencing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
High level of professionalism, judgment, and initiative
