The Job at a Glance
The individual is responsible for key account management with focus on wallet share growth at Parts Town Canada. This role will grow and manage a national portfolio of HVAC customers and carries defined monthly and annual sales targets within the HVAC vertical. The incumbent will communicate directly with customers and prospects, understand their individual needs and recommend solutions that maximize value. They will maintain and expand the database of prospects, qualified leads, customers and report on current progress at weekly sales meetings. They will actively monitor accounts at risk and take proactive and remedial retention measures for success. The incumbent will be organized, passionate about customer relations, and focused on enhancing the customer experience with more details as follows.
A Typical Day
Owns and grows a national HVAC customer portfolio for 'new' and 'existing' customers with a primary focus on existing and net new potential revenue with the key deliverable of achieving revenue objectives as measured monthly/yearly, determined and assigned by the Company
Identifies opportunities to expand wallet share within existing HVAC accounts and actively prospects net new HVAC business
Prospects, develops and qualifies leads per requirements and produces high-quality sales opportunities
Maintains awareness of HVAC industry trends, competitors, and distribution dynamics to strengthen customer value proposition. Resolves issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Reviews down-trending accounts and develop actions plans to address challenges, obstacles, and competition when required
Effectively manages profitability, working through pricing negotiations with customers
Provides regular sales reports and updates to management on sales activity and progress
Completes competitive market assessments
Prepares Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and present to customers in order to identify business opportunities and create customer connections to develop and implement business plans to grow business for customers
Proactively identify opportunities for digital transaction conversion by promoting Parts Town capabilities
Collaborate with the sales team to build pipeline and close deals and interacts with senior management on strategy updates
What We're Looking For
Post graduate degree or diploma in business, marketing, HVAC or related field is an asset
Minimum 2 years commercial sales experience (B2B, parts distributor, or within HVAC industry preferred)
Post graduate degree or diploma in business, marketing or related field is an asset
Familiarity with HVAC industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory environments
Must have experience with MS Office and a current CRM or ERP system
Ability to travel up to 30% of time (Primarily Canada but also USA)

The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 to $120,065.13 per annum which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
