This is a 12 month fixed term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension. Toronto, hybrid JOB PURPOSE This role is part of our Global Studios team, focused on creating emotive and conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. As an Account Director, you will build strong relationships with clients at all levels, provide strategic input, and oversee the delivery of integrated campaigns. You will manage client briefs from start to finish, plan, assign, and review creative, and manage overall agency workload in partnership with producers, design and copy leads. You will work closely with designers, copywriters, developers, and other agency members to ensure profitable, creatively‑integrity‑driven campaign delivery while maintaining collaboration and team motivation. WHAT YOU’LL DO Manage client accounts and projects from briefing through delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and managing expectations. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, balancing workloads and communicating client feedback effectively. Oversee project scope, budgets, contracts, and resources to maximise account performance and profitability. Lead account planning, proposals, presentations, and new business opportunities. Drive process improvements and ensure consistent delivery across all projects. Monitor account performance and provide strategic recommendations based on client objectives and results. Mentor and support junior team members, resolving project challenges and escalations. Lead and develop project teams, delegating work effectively and fostering collaboration. Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development. Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and high‑quality delivery across the team. Manage change effectively and communicate priorities to ensure smooth execution. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Strong account, project, budget, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent organisation with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams. Commercial awareness with business development and client growth experience. Knowledge of digital production and creative workflows. Proactive, adaptable, and solutions‑focused with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
