Job Title: Service Technician
Location: Mississauga
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hourly Pay: $30.00 – $35.00
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours/week
Job Overview: Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, installing, and maintaining welding fume extraction and vehicle exhaust systems at various client sites. The ideal candidate is independent, proactive, and comfortable working in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities: Service Technician
Install, service, and maintain welding fume and vehicle exhaust extraction systems (ductwork, extraction arms, filters, fans, etc.)
Perform preventative and routine maintenance according to procedures
Diagnose technical issues and determine effective solutions
Complete accurate service reports and documentation
Operate hoisting/lifting equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.)
Update work orders, maintenance logs, and daily activity reports
Travel to client sites as required (accommodations/meals covered)
Required Qualifications & Skills: Service Technician
Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean abstract
Company vehicle can be taken home
High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications in Working at Heights and Forklift/Scissor Lift Operation
Preferred (Not Mandatory) Certifications
Sheet Metal Technician (407A)
Compensation & Benefits: Service Technician
Annual performance-based bonus

RRSP Contribution: Up to $2,500 per year
