Journeyman Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced journeyman carpenter to join our team. As ajourneyman carpenter, you will play an integral role in our construction projects, overseeing and coordinating the work of other carpenters and tradespeople. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters and other tradespeople on construction sites
Plan and organize daily tasks, ensuring that work is completed according to project schedules
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and layouts
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood or wood substitutes
Install and repair structures such as doors, windows, stairs, cabinets, and furniture
Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and machinery
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all workers are following appropriate safety measures
Requirements
Journeyman Red Seal certified required.
Proven experience as a supervisor/lead hand required.
In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong leadership and communication skills
Attention to detail and quality
Time management and organizational skills
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
