3+ years of professional drafting experience specifically within
metal fabrication, miscellaneous metals, or structural steel

Advanced proficiency in
AutoCAD
. Experience with 3D modeling tools (Advance Steel, SolidWorks, or Revit) is a highly valued asset.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of welding symbols (AWS/CWB standards), sheet metal unfolding, fastening systems, and manufacturing tolerances.
Sector Familiarity:
Prior experience interpreting technical drawing packages for public infrastructure or public transit systems (e.g., STM projects, train stations, bus terminals) is highly preferred.

Functional bilingualism (French and English) to confidently navigate municipal project documents, technical manuals, and team communication.
