We are hiring an English (ESL) Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in Toronto. Job Information Ref#: 198568 Student: 1 adult employee who's recently relocated to Canada Location: King Street, Toronto, ON M5X 2A2 Availability: 1x a week; 1-hour lessons Current language level: Beginner Native and other spoken languages: Korean (native), English (fluent), and Japanese Student's language needs and goals: The student is looking to refresh and build her basic French skills to confidently engage in everyday conversations with native speakers. She prefers structured, conversation-based lessons focused on speaking and listening, with grammar as a supportive tool rather than the primary focus. Her goals include improving conversational fluency and learning about French business culture. She values flexible instruction tailored to her progress and believes regular practice outside of lessons is important. Her interests include movies, food, travel, and culture. Responsibilities Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications French Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or a related field To have a minimum of two years of French language teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
