SUMMARY This is a 1-year contract opportunity for a Residential Leasing Agent to provide a seamless and positive leasing experience to prospective residents with a primary focus on our Pond Mills location in London, Ontario. Working Friday through Tuesday, the Leasing Agent will focus on engaging with prospects, conducting property tours, supporting the application process, and collaborating with internal teams to help drive occupancy in this brand-new building. The Leasing Agent will also provide leasing support at other BlueStone residential properties to ensure consistent coverage across the portfolio. BLUESTONE ADVANTAGES Certified Great Place to Work® for 6 consecutive years Sign-On Bonus Paid Better Days and Personal Days Boot allowance Opportunities for Paid Professional Development Employee Reward and Recognition Platform Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate leasing team Feel good about where you work, we are a Green Economy London Leader who has many sustainability initiatives in place and energy star certified properties RESPONSIBILITES Collaborate with the leasing team in the development of effective property promotion through digital listings, social media, and community outreach initiatives Maintain and track a pipeline ensuring a steady stream of prospects Engage prospects via phone, email, and in-person promptly while providing exceptional service Schedule and conduct property tours, showcase suites and amenities, and highlight key features in accordance with prospect needs Guide prospects through BlueStone’s leasing process from application submission to lease signing Process applications, review documentation, and track leasing progress Once lease is signed and approved, coordinate the transition for the move-in process to building managers Conduct regular market surveys, remain aware of the residential leasing market, and ensure rental listings are up to date in software and on website Support leasing activities at other BlueStone residential properties as needed to help ensure consistent coverage across the portfolio REQUIREMENTS 2 years of experience in residential leasing Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Computer and smartphone proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite. Yardi an asset. Strong Social Media skills with knowledge of Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, Tik Tok, Content creating/editing Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and proactive approach CRM knowledge Ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, Human Rights Code, Fire Code, Building Standards Code, Occupational Health & Safety Act Criminal background check required (paid by BlueStone) Must have a valid G driver’s license, access to vehicle in good working order, and automotive insurance with minimum liability of $1,000,000.
