Job DescriptionJob Description Senior Commercial Account Manager Key Responsibilities Serve as a senior advisor on commercial insurance for large accounts , arranging coverage with underwriters and advising customers on appropriate coverage and policy gaps Manage the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, changes, cancellations, certificates, and referrals Mentor and train junior account managers across all aspects of commercial insurance and day-to-day account servicing Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all client-facing documentation, including policies, certificates, invoices, and correspondence Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to service standards, regulatory requirements, and system utilization Partner closely with Account Executives to support customer strategy and day-to-day account management Research and analyze insurance and risk-related information to support informed, strategic decision-making Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in commercial insurance products Qualifications 8 years of commercial insurance experience Experience managing commercial accounts $800,000K + as point person Proven experience managing and advising on complex insurance accounts Experience mentoring, training, or supporting junior team members Active RIBO license required Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, results-driven approach Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of Epic is considered an asset Completion or enrollment in CAIB, CIP, or CRM designations is an asset Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement.
