Job DescriptionJob Description A well-established life and fire safety organization is urgently looking for a Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Technician to cover the Calgary, AB and surrounding areas with the rare occasional need to travel out of province. SHIFT: Days, 7:30am-4:00pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 8hrs each day. Oncall: 1 week/7 weeks. Occasional overnight travel required. FIRE SPRINKLER FITTER & TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter or Red Seal Fire Sprinkler Fitter License mandatory Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, submittals, schematics, and/or operational manuals Knowedgeable of NFPA 13 and 25 codes Ability for occasional overnight travel (10%) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Successfully hired Sprinkler Technicians must pass a pre-employment background check (Driving, Employment References).
