Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the architectural design and modernization of its Advisor Experience ecosystem within the Wealth Management business. This role will be focused on transforming a fragmented advisor technology landscape consisting of multiple third‑party and internally developed applications into a unified, scalable, and secure advisor platform. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in wealth management technology , particularly advisor‑facing portals and advisor servicing platforms , and will partner closely with business, product, engineering, security, and vendor teams to define and execute the target‑state architecture. Key Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture for advisor‑facing digital platforms within the Wealth Management organization. Assess the current‑state ecosystem of advisor applications and identify opportunities for consolidation, simplification, and modernization. Design a target‑state architecture that enables a single advisor experience across multiple advisor types and business channels. Define and implement role‑based access and entitlement models to support different advisor segments and user personas. Create architecture roadmaps, integration patterns, and transition‑state designs to support migration from legacy platforms. Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and third‑party vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and technology selection decisions. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, scalability objectives, and regulatory obligations. Develop and maintain architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, capability maps, integration flows, and technical decision documents. Support delivery teams throughout implementation, providing architectural guidance and resolving complex technical challenges. Required QualificationsDomain Experience 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles. Strong experience within Wealth Management , Investment Management , or Financial Services environments. Proven experience working with advisor portals , advisor workstations, advisor servicing platforms, or wealth management digital channels. Deep understanding of advisor workflows, onboarding, client servicing, account management, and advisory operations. Technical Expertise Experience architecting enterprise‑scale web, digital and desktop platforms. Strong knowledge of API‑led integration, microservices, event‑driven architecture, and cloud‑native design patterns. Experience integrating both vendor products and internally developed applications. Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), authentication, authorization, and role‑based entitlement frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS. Familiarity with modern architecture tools and methodologies. Leadership & Communication Ability to communicate architectural concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management and influence skills. Experience facilitating architecture workshops and driving consensus across multiple teams. Excellent documentation and presentation capabilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience within Canadian wealth management organizations, banks, insurance companies, or financial institutions. Knowledge of advisor dealer channels, independent advisors, and captive advisor models. Experience with digital transformation or platform consolidation initiatives. Familiarity with customer identity management and advisor entitlement solutions. Exposure to Agile delivery environments and DevSecOps practices. TOGAF, Azure Architect, AWS Architect, or related architecture certifications.
