Fleet: de Havilland Canada Dash-8, de Havilland Canada Dash-7, de Havilland Canada Twin Otter, Beech King Air 250, Beech King Air 350, Cessna Caravan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Entering and coding vendor invoices, intercompany payables, and loan/lease payments in Stampli (invoice workflow system)
Cash and cheque deposits
Completing vendor credit applications
Setting up new vendors in NetSuite (accounting system)
Matching purchase orders from RAAS (inventory system) to invoices
Coding fuel invoices using Takeflite data (reservation system)
Expense report processing
Corresponding with vendors and reconciling vendor statements
Providing support for month end accruals
Perform any other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
- College Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Previous experience in accounting or finance role in a high volume environment
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Netsuit and/or Stampli will be considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong mathematical ability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a restricted timeline
