Job Summary
$3000 Signing Bonus
To work within the Tooling Department to efficiently and effectively perform tool building and repairs that assures quality product is produced and delivered that consistently satisfies or exceeds our customer's expectation.
Major responsibilities of position
Performed tool building and repair that consistently satisfied or exceeded requirements.
Heat treats and welds parts as required.
Determines specifications for inspection of work, using precision measuring and gauging tool, performing required inspection before, during and after machining/repair
Performs hand operations involved in producing fixtures, tools, jogs, and dies. Uses hand tools of the trade.
Fits and assembles fixtures, tools, and dies. Sets up, runs off, and tests dies to produce a product to specifications, tracing die difficulties to their source and correcting same.
Shift Rotation
Week 1: Monday- Friday (Afternoon shift) + Weekend off
Week 2: Monday- Friday (Day shift) + Weekend off
Week 3: Monday- Friday (Midnight shift) + Two 12 hour weekend shift
Week 4: Monday- Sunday (Off paid 7 days)

Education, experience, skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years' experience in high pressure cast die build and repair
Certification of Qualification for Tool and Die
Must know how to skillfully operate a lathe, surface grinder, id/od grinder, and mill, spotting press, radial arm drills and any other related tool room equipment.
Must have experience with trim tool build and repair
Ability to reads and interprets blueprints or works from verbal or written instructions or from the part to be copied or fitted.
