Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking an organized and driven Transportation HR/Recruiter to support our transportation operations through full-cycle recruitment and HR administration. This role is responsible for attracting and hiring qualified drivers, supporting employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment standards, and partnering with management to meet staffing needs. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for transportation and driver positions. - Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates through various recruiting channels. - Coordinate hiring activities, including employment offers, reference checks, and background screenings. - Facilitate new hire onboarding and support employees through their probationary period. - Maintain candidate and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. - Partner with transportation management to identify staffing requirements and workforce needs. - Support employee relations, performance management, and workplace issue resolution. - Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and HR best practices. Qualifications; - Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 3 to 5 years of recruitment and HR experience, preferably within transportation, logistics, or fleet operations. - Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices. - Experience with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and HR-related systems. - Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for occasional travel to driver yard and operational sites.
