The role primarily involves working in a freezer environment , with some work in cooler areas as required. Inspecting products for defects, damage, or incorrect labels. Identifying products and locations using vendor information, item numbers, pack sizes, code dates, and product descriptions. Loading and unloading products from trucks. Moving, organizing, and staging products throughout the warehouse. Maintaining accurate product placement and inventory organization. Performing general warehouse cleaning and maintenance. Following company safety, security, and housekeeping procedures. Performing other general warehouse and material-handling duties as required. Work Environment Warehouse and distribution centre environment Freezer and multi-temperature working conditions Fast-paced order picking and material-handling environment Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving products Ability to work efficiently while meeting productivity targets Strong focus on workplace safety and accuracy Who We're Looking For Previous warehouse, order picking, loading, or material-handling experience is an asset. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working in a freezer/multi-temperature warehouse . Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets after training. Previous food warehouse experience is an asset. Reliable and hardworking with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation is required due to limited public transit outside peak hours. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly .
