Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our
Windsor Tooling
team as a:
CNC Operator
Reporting to the CNC Supervisor, the CNC Operator is responsible for the set up and machining of steel, optimizing precision and quality. The CNC Operator will work in a collaborative environment and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Performing work as assigned by the CNC Supervisor.
Completing daily line-ups.
Have tooling ready for pre-made cutter paths.
Job set up, tool changes, and manual operation as required.
Setting up and machining surfaces on plastic injection molds.
Using precision measuring equipment for quality and accuracy.
Assisting in designated cutter paths as necessary.
Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement Activities.
Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
Completion of any other duties as assigned.
Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct.
To support, implement, maintain and promote Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) initiatives, as required by related organization security management systems procedures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For:
Two (2)years work experience as a machinist
Strong understanding of the machining process.
Must have the ability to be trained for the above mentioned responsibilities and authorities.
Acceptable performance record and attendance record required.
