Job Description Licensed Millwright (433A) – Night Shift Location: Waterloo Region, ON Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Compensation: $46.00/hour + $5.00/hour Night Shift Premium Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a Licensed Millwright (433A) for one of our clients located in the Waterloo Region. About the Role Our client is seeking a Licensed Millwright (433A) to join their Maintenance team on a permanent night shift. Reporting to the Afternoon Shift Supervisor, this position is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime Respond to equipment breakdowns and production line issues Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and optimization initiatives Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment Maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, fans, tanks, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Complete maintenance records and preventative maintenance documentation Ensure compliance with company policies, OHSA regulations, GMP standards, and food safety requirements Participate in cross-training and ongoing skills development initiatives Qualifications & Experience Ontario Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) 433A License Experience working in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience performing preventative maintenance Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift PLC troubleshooting experience considered an asset Exposure to Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems considered an asset SMAW and/or GTAW (TIG) welding experience considered an asset Experience working with conveyors and automated production equipment considered an asset Compensation & Benefits $46.00/hour base wage $5.00/hour night shift premium Weekly pay by direct deposit Optional overtime opportunities No on-call requirements Comprehensive benefits package after 3 months Pension plan with employer contribution Tool and safety equipment provided Two weeks vacation Additional floater/personal days Quarterly lifestyle bonus program Employee discount program Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Stable full-time schedule with no rotating shifts Hiring Process Disclosure Applications will be reviewed as part of our recruitment and selection process.
