The opportunity:
Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accouting clerk - billing to join our team in our Edmonton Office
office. In this role you will be responsible for

What you’ll do:
Work with Accounting team to set up projects in the system
Monitoring and updating project budgets, including tracking costs to avoid overruns
Collaborating with project managers to provide financial support and analysis.
Billing Issuance, ensuring accuracy in invoiced amounts
Perform revenue adjustments.
Reviewing data entered into ERP system for accuracy.
Updating and maintaining accounting journals and other records detailing financial business transactions.
Assisting with month end closing procedures including:
Support audit and financial review requests, compile documentation, and respond to auditor queries.
Other duties as required
Does this sound like you?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in accounting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics considered an asset
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Intermediate Excel user.
Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Good interpersonal skills for client / contractor relations.
