SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR
Williams Lake, BC
(Relocation or Travel to Site)
Contract Position: 6 Months (Start Date, July 1st)
Compensation: $7,000 - 9,000/Month + LOA
We are working with a well-established commercial construction organization seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to oversee the successful execution of complex commercial and institutional interior construction projects in Williams Lake, British Columbia.This opportunity is ideal for a proven field leader with experience delivering full interior buildouts from shell condition through final completion. The successful candidate will take ownership of daily site operations, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Site Supervisor will act as the primary field lead, managing all on-site construction activities while maintaining control over scheduling, trade coordination, logistics, quality, and safety.This role requires a hands-on construction professional who can independently manage complex commercial sites and effectively coordinate multiple disciplines in active project environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead daily site operations for commercial interior construction projects from base building through completion
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across multiple trades and building systems
Manage construction sequencing, site logistics, access, staging, and material coordination
Identify and resolve trade conflicts to maintain project schedules
Oversee installation of structural elements, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural finishes, millwork, and specialty systems
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and site organization
Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including WorkSafeBC regulations
Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to support successful project execution
Communicate regularly with project management regarding progress, risks, and site requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of commercial or institutional construction experience
Proven experience delivering complete interior buildouts from shell condition
Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Superintendent, or Lead Foreman
Experience with commercial, institutional, or healthcare construction projects
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and multi-trade coordination
Ability to independently manage active job sites with minimal oversight
Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and interior assemblies
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Healthcare or institutional project experience is considered a strong asset.Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license
Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and site communication
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and professional site management
