Position Summary Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Planner is responsible for all planning-related activities at the MSCP project site. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the effective preparation, coordination, scheduling, and tracking of work required to execute the project schedule safely and efficiently. The Planner develops work execution plans, prepares Digital Working Packages, manages Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ensures accurate tracking and reporting of activities within both MSCP and client systems. Develop and maintain detailed execution plans to support project schedules and operational requirements. Manage SAP work management activities and monitor schedule completion performance. Prepare and maintain Digital Working Packages (DWPs) to support field execution. Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for work packages. Coordinate and facilitate short-term look-ahead plans, forecasts, and work prioritization activities. Monitor progress against schedules and identify risks, constraints, and opportunities to improve workflow and execution. Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and updating of work activities within both MSCP and client platforms. Collaborate with Operations, Field Supervision, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Client representatives to ensure work readiness and execution success. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and project controls. Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and execution reviews as required. Maintain compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable safety standards. Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate will possess: A Red Seal Journeyperson certification or equivalent technical credentials. Previous experience in a Planner role within an industrial, maintenance, construction, or turnaround environment. Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills. Excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities. Demonstrated leadership capability and experience mentoring or supervising others. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Technical knowledge and competencies in Electrical, Insulation, and Electrical Heat Tracing systems. Proficiency with SAP, project planning and scheduling software, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience developing work packages, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and execution plans. Experience working in industrial facilities and shift-based work environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Key Success Measures Schedule compliance and completion performance.
