Job Description
As the
Director of Business Development
will support the Corporate Services segment for Western Canada you will target account development for Food and Facilities Management services in key sectors to help grow new business revenue. You will be responsible for outbound outreach to new clients in order to pre-qualify, build, and nurture pipeline for Segment Sales.
You will grow this new business by identifying and working a target list of prospective clients through phone, email, social, web and other digital applications to generate qualified opportunities. You will also be responsible for driving and closing smaller transactional revenue opportunities in high velocity engagements within mid to large sized target market. As Director of Business Development, you will be expected to work in close collaboration with Marketing, Inside sales, and the Proposal team, specifically:
Work on outbound account-based campaigns in conjunction with Marketing and Sales
Identify leads through targeted outreach via phone, email, web, social, and internal systems
Represent Sodexo in trade shows and relevant business and partnership fairs: present and articulate solutions, engage with prospects, etc.
Advance and close transactional sales through high velocity engagements within a mid to large sized target market
Attend, participate and present in Team, Segment, and other relevant reoccurring meetings
