Job DescriptionJob Description Storm Electric is seeking a 309A electrician. Our field of work encompasses all aspects of the residential, commercial and industrial sectors with a heavy focus on the restoration industry. Where we work: Our service area of coverage includes the GTA and all surrounding areas (Hamilton). The jobs range from service calls to capital projects. Candidate must be willing to travel from site to site where required through out the GTA as this is part of the job. You can be working at multiple different sites on any given week. Customer Service (our strength): We provide our customers with a full-service solution for all their electrical needs with a strong focus on building long term relationships. We assist our clientele with day-to-day support as well as large projects. Storm Electric aims to be the last call our clients ever need to make by ensuring we have a depth of technical expertise across all departments plus attentive service and top-notch quality that keeps them coming back. Customer service is a particularly important part of our business. Good communication skills and repour are a must. What we expect from you: The candidate will be directly interacting with clients and must have a pleasant demeanor, clean cut and present well, be well spoken and articulate plus have a solid grasp of the English language (spoken and written). The candidate must also have a keen sense of attention to details and must excel at record keeping. Electronic work order system is implemented, and the candidate will be expected to be able to use it. After hours service calls are part of the job and expected on occasion. Candidate must be will to accommodate this requirement. Requirements of Journeyman candidate: • 309A Journeyman -Electrician - Construction and Maintenance License (Minimum of 2 years) in good standing. • Served their apprenticeship in Canada. • Working at Heights Certification (current and valid). • Drivers license in good standing with clean drivers abstract. • No criminal record. • Own hand tools and vehicle. • Be computer and smart phone literate. • Good trouble shooting skills + ability to work with others or alone. • On occasion, after hours emergency service calls are required. Job Type: • Full-time, Permanent. Wages: • Starting From $32.00 to $38.00+ per hour (based on experience and independence).
