Job DescriptionJob Description Disability Advisor Full-Time | Permanent Edmonton, AB | Hybrid (In office 1 day per week or 4 days per month Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 annually (based on experience) Description Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Disability Advisor to oversee Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) claims. In this role, you will be responsible for initial adjudication, ongoing case management, and supporting clients through recovery and return-to-work planning. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver fair, timely, and well-informed decisions while ensuring a high standard of client care. What You’ll Be Doing Adjudicate Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability claims in a timely and accurate manner Apply policy provisions and industry regulations, including CLHIA guidelines, to all decisions Develop, implement, and evaluate effective case management strategies Monitor treatment plans, rehabilitation progress, and return-to-work programs Ensure accurate and timely benefit payments Communicate clearly and professionally (written and verbal) with claimants, employers, healthcare providers, a
