Job Description
This role supports the Plant Controller across operations with a strong emphasis on cost accounting, manufacturing variances, and operational partnership. The successful candidate will be hands-on in month-end close, deeply engaged with manufacturing operations, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment following a recent acquisition. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with Operations, Corporate Accounting, and Finance leadership and will contribute to forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
Execute core cost accounting activities, including manufacturing cost analysis, BOM costing, and cost roll-ups, and inventory and material variance analysis.
Actively support month-end close, with a standard close completed in 3 days, focusing the first 3 days on entries and days 4–5 on analysis and commentary.
Partner closely with Operations to support productivity, cost reduction, inventory turns, and variance reduction.
Participate in operational discussions and act as “eyes and ears” for Finance.
