Job Summary
Freight Broker/ Sales Rep
JDass Corp is looking for a Freight Broker Sales Representative. Yyou will be responsible for sourcing new customers, negotiating freight rates, managing shipments, and ensuring outstanding service delivery. This role requires strong sales ability, logistics knowledge, and the drive to build and manage your own book of business.
This is a high-earning potential position with a competitive commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and pursue new shippers through cold calling, outreach, networking, and referrals.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects.
Negotiate freight rates and secure profitable business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong customer relationships with existing and new accounts.
Understand customer needs and tailor logistics solutions accordingly.
Provide accurate and timely updates on shipment status and service issues.
Carrier Sourcing & Coordination
Work with carrier partners to secure available capacity at competitive rates.
Negotiate carrier rates and build a reliable carrier network.
