Food World Supermarket is seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef specializing in Indian mithai, with strong expertise in Indian sweet items like gulab jamun, jalebi, rasgullas, barfis, laddoos, pinnis, ras-malai, gajrela. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in preparing a wide variety of Indian sweets, managing bulk production, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards in a high-volume retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Mithai Production & Quality Control
Prepare and oversee production of traditional Indian sweets including:
Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Rasmalai
Barfi varieties (Kaju, Pista, Coconut, Chocolate)
Ladoo (Besan, Motichoor, Boondi)
Milk-based sweets (Peda, Kalakand, Milk Cake)
Halwa varieties
Bengali and regional specialties
