Job Title:Hoist Operator / Section 5 Operator
Location/Pay:Lower Mainland, BC, Canada ($28/hr)

Responsibilities:As a Hoist Operator / Section 5 Operator, your main responsibilities are:
Equipment Operation: Operate hoisting equipment safely, such as cranes and passenger/material hoists.
Load Management: Move materials, equipment, and people within the construction site safely.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety rules, including those in Section 5 of BC's Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
Maintenance: Perform basic equipment checks.
Communication: Work closely with the construction team and follow safety protocols.
Documentation: Keep records of equipment checks, maintenance, and incidents as needed.
Qualifications:To be considered, candidates should have:
Certification: Valid Hoist Operator certification.
Safety Knowledge: Understanding of BC's Section 5 safety regulations.
Experience: Prior experience in hoist operation is a plus.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and climb as needed (Minimum, 25 lbs).
Team Player: Works well with others.
Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
