The Kativik Regional Government (KRG), a supra municipal body with jurisdiction over the territory located north of the 55th parallel, is now looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual interested in joining the KRG to work in the capacity of:
REGIONAL CHILDCARE COUNSELOR
(Full-time Position)Reporting to the Childcare Assistant Director, the Regional childcare counsellor will assist the childcare centers by providing professional and technical support and advice to the board of directors and staff of the centers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide information to the childcare center’s board of directors concerning programs, law and regulations and financing of a childcare center;
Provide training to the members of a board of directors related to their function, responsibilities, installation and operation;
Support and provide information to the board of directors with the development of personal management policies, programs of activities, financial management programs and policies concerning general center management;
Assist in the completion of forms and documents related to the legal status of the childcare center, the funding and the permit require
