Testing Coordinator (School-Based) Exempt North Carolina licensure as a teacher or in a student support service area. Knowledge or interest in NC State Assessments, NC Accountability Programs, program evaluation, computer technology, and educational research. Must have exemplary planning skills, leadership skills, and commitment to continuous quality improvement. Principal To coordinate and administer all state and local testing programs at the school level while ensuring compliance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and Cumberland County Schools testing policies, procedures, and security requirements. Adhere to district testing plans, timelines, the North Carolina Testing Code of Ethics, and sign the annual Confidentiality Agreement. Train all school personnel on test security, ethical testing practices, and the implementation of testing accommodations for students with disabilities and English Learners (ELs). Develop test-specific schedules, room assignments, and test administrator/proctor assignments while preventing conflicts of interest. Count, verify, secure, and maintain all testing materials in a locked, restricted-access location. Ensure testing rooms are free of instructional displays, bulletin boards, and unauthorized reference materials. Verify that all students scheduled for online testing have completed the required assessment tutorial before test day. Distribute secure testing materials immediately before testing and verify counts with test administrators. Monitor testing sessions to ensure secure testing conditions and accurate implementation of all documented accommodations. Report all testing irregularities and security incidents through OTISS within required timelines. Reconcile all secure materials immediately following testing, verify inventory, and return materials to the district testing office. Maintain confidentiality of student assessment results and ensure scores are used appropriately in accordance with state and district policy. Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with staff and community leaders. Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion. Must possess a valid driver's license.
