Overview Job Skills / Requirements Position Details : Position: Event Security Supervisor Site: Downtown Halifax Pay Rate: $21.00 This is a temporary contract for the month of June. Successful applicants may be considered for future permanent openings. Shift Supervisors are responsible for: • Directing employees to perform to the standards of Paladin's policies and procedures • Ensuring employees have and retain knowledge of the site operations • Ensuring their team is made aware of and understand any Paladin issued memo/announcement • Ensuring contractual obligations are met - such as no time loss on site. Addressing lateness, absences, and covering shifts as needed • Responding to all emergencies; taking command of the situation • Ensuring the health and safety of staff as it pertains to training on Paladin's Occupational Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and reporting any incidents that occur during their shift • Dealing with disciplinary issues that arise on site, including completion of meetings and paperwork.
