The Woodlands Accountant acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to operations leadership. Supported by Canfor's broader Finance - Wood Products Canada group, this role provides relevant, accurate, and timely financial information and analysis to support decisionâmaking, performance management, and the continuous improvement of the business.
This is a highly visible, senior role that goes beyond traditional accounting. You will leverage your financial management experience to influence outcomes, support operational excellence, and help drive the longâterm success of our Grande Prairie Fibre - Operations.
A day in the life of the Woodlands Accountant includes:
Act as the primary finance business partner to the Fibre Operations leadership, providing timely, relevant, and actionable financial insight to support operational and strategic decisionâmaking.
Act as the key point of contact for operations on all financial matters, building strong, credible relationships and influencing outcomes through dataâdriven analysis.
