Job Description
Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations including the quality, delivery and meeting production targets as per the assigned production department. You will be responsible for leading a team of production workers, complying with the safety protocols, collective bargaining agreements and other related legislation.
Essential Duties:
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with health and safety policies and procedures;
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure efficient and timely completion of production requirements.
Plan and supervise daily production operations in the assigned area anticipating production issues (i.e., material shortages, equipment malfunctions, rush orders, etc.) to minimize downtime and ensure production, safety and quality objectives are achieved;
Participate in selection/interview process, job safety orientation and employee performance reviews;
Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to enhance their skills, productivity, and overall performance.
Lead daily stand-up meetings;
Develop and update manufacturing work instructions and documentation as required;
