Production Operator
. The position is responsible for filling, palletizing and the loading of bagged limestone, quicklime and hydrated lime products, as well as various other duties as assigned around the plant to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Responsible for the proper filling of bag products to comply with specifications and customer requirements.
Ensure proper operation and care of packaging equipment to maximize bag filling efficiency and maintain bag weight accuracy.
Ability to operate, problem solve, and make necessary adjustments to the Bag Packers, Palletizer and Stretch Wrappers.
Continuously inspect all bagging related equipment to detect mechanical problems and ensure employee safety.
Perform a wide variety of general manual labour work, requiring repetitive heavy lifting, shoveling, handwork, climbing, and performing work at different heights.
Assist in any equipment operation and servicing when needed using basic tools to accomplish the
