Job Summary:
The Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role involves a thorough knowledge of the menu, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and a friendly and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Interaction:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their table, and present menus. Establish a rapport with guests by making menu recommendations and answering any questions about ingredients, dietary restrictions, or specials.
Order Taking:
Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring all preferences and special requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
Food and Beverage Service:
Deliver food and drinks to the table in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are served as ordered and presented attractively. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any issues or additional requests.
Table Maintenance:
Monitor tables for cleanliness and service needs, clearing used dishes, glasses, and cutlery between courses. Refill drinks other items as necessary.
