Summer Camp Facilitator – Oxford Learning Waterdown
Oxford Learning Waterdown is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible
Summer Camp Facilitator
to support our
8-week Summer Camp program
.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
July 6 – August 28
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage small groups of campers (ages 4–12)
Guide students through
pre-planned academic activities
including reading, writing, math, and STEM projects
Help facilitate
theme-based camp activities, crafts, games, and outdoor play
Support special guest visits and group activities
Ensure a safe, positive, and organized environment for all campers
Assist with snack time and transitions between activities
Ideal Candidate:
Enjoys working with children
Energetic, patient, and responsible
Comfortable managing small groups of students
Experience working with children in camps, schools, tutoring, or childcare is an asset
Students in
Education, Teaching, Child & Youth Studies, or related programs
are encouraged to apply
All camp activities and materials are
planned and prepared by the centre
, so the facilitator’s role is to
lead, supervise, and keep campers engaged throughout the day
.
Job Type
: Part-time
Salary
: $16 - $18 / hour
