Road Foreman
Dawson Road Maintenance
is looking for an experienced
Road Foreman who will lead a dedicated team that helps keep our roadways safe and efficient for all travelers.
In this role you will be a valued member of
Dawson Road Maintenance
, working in a permanent, full-time position of
Road Foreman
, reporting to the
Superintendent, Roads
. As Road Foreman, you will assist in the supervision and activities of maintenance crews, sub-contractors and hired equipment across the service area. Your base location will be
Williams Lake, BC
and will require some travel throughout our great province.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
Effectively follow instructions and function without direct supervision
Ensure efficiency of scheduled work that is carried out by employees under your supervision
Exercise tact and co-operation in dealing with employees, the general public and government personnel
Have extensive knowledge and experience in road maintenance and the requirements of MoTT maintenance specifications
Communicate and work co-operatively with Stakeholders
Be knowledgeable of Dawson Road Mainte
